Announcing the Peter Nwomeh Foundation Scholarship for the Physical Sciences in Nigerian Universities
The Peter Nwomeh Foundation is pleased to announce its first scholarship named The Peter Nwomeh Foundation Scholarship for Physical Sciences in Nigerian Universities.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF CANDIDATES
Eligible candidates for this scholarship must fulfill all of the following:
· Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Mathematics or Physics
· Enrolled in a Nigerian university
· Recently admitted to the university or in the first or second year of their studies.
· For year one students, candidates must show evidence of admission.
· Candidates for this scholarship must be indigenes of Ozalla in Nkanu West LGA, Enugu State.
· Applicants will undergo a screening exercise which will include a written and oral test.
· Candidates must be of good conduct.
· Candidates who have already completed at least one semester must tender records of all semester examinations taken since admission.
· A beneficiary must maintain an average GPA not less than 3.5 in order to keep the scholarship.
· Effective date for the commencement of the scholarship is the 2015/2016 academic session.
· Application for the scholarship closes on 30th November, 2015 while the successful candidate(s) will be announced on 15th December, 2015.
