We are a charitable foundation rooted in Ozalla, Nkanu West LGA — opening doors to higher education, training and dignified livelihood for students and families across Enugu State, Nigeria and beyond.
The Foundation operates across four interlocking programmes. Each is shaped by community, governed by trustees, and reviewed annually against measurable outcomes.
Since 2014 we've supported deserving students through four award categories — undergraduate, postgraduate, vocational and special-need. Awards cover tuition, books, and a modest stipend.
Since 2025, PNF-USA has expanded its mission to include hands-on training in tailoring, agribusiness, ICT, and skilled trades, equipping young people with practical skills for dignified, self-sustaining livelihoods within their communities
During seasons of economic hardship, the foundation provides direct material assistance, food, and emergency support to vulnerable families and elders.
Working alongside local partners, traditional leaders and the diaspora to advance infrastructure, water, health and education in Ozalla, Obe and surrounding Nkanu towns.
The Peter and Margaret Nwomeh Foundation was established in 2014 as a non-profit, charitable organisation registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria.
The Foundation is named in honour of the late Mr Peter Ani Nwomeh and his wife, Margaret Nebechi Nwomeh — both of whom left enduring legacies of service, education and resilience in their community.
In honour of their parents' lives and values, Peter and Margaret's five children founded PNF — committed to providing educational and humanitarian assistance to individuals and communities throughout Enugu State.
Today, the Foundation is jointly stewarded by trustees in Nigeria and the United States, working with partners and the diaspora to extend its reach and deepen its accountability.
The Peter and Margaret Nwomeh Foundation was honored to receive the Community Recognition Award during the Ozalla Forum's 10th Anniversary Celebration — a milestone event celebrating a decade of community leadership, development, and partnership in Ozalla.
Five young people from Ozalla completed vocational training in tailoring and fashion design through the Fashion Future Program in Aba this spring. Their graduation photographs tell a familiar story — certificates, smiles, the relief of a milestone reached — but the most important part begins only after the cameras are put away.
